Baby Girl Survives Fall to Tracks

In India, a newborn baby girl survived a terrible ordeal after her mother prematurely gave birth while relieving herself in the bathroom of a moving train. The toilets on such trains empty directly onto the tracks, and as the newborn child slipped through the hole, her mother fainted. Upon regaining consciousness, the mother immediately alerted family members who stopped the train and ran to search for the baby. Nearly two hours after she was born, the baby was found uninjured and transported to the hospital. She remains in intensive care due to her premature birth.
